There are a lot of things we love about the modern Chevrolet lineup, which should come as no surprise since we’re your Chevy dealer near South Lyon. As much as we get excited about things like the high-performance Corvette and powerful trucks like the Silverado 1500, few aspects of this lineup can match the incredible selection of SUVs it has to offer. Some other brands out there offer just a few options, which is fine, but it often means their drivers have to settle for something that’s not perfect for them. When you check out our selection of 2025 Chevy SUVs, however, you can see a huge range with amazing vehicles for every driver. No matter what you’re looking for, we’re happy to help you find it—let’s take a look at what’s available, and you’ll see exactly what we mean.
2025 Chevy Trax––The Perfect Entry-Level SUV
Starting things off, we have the Chevy Trax, which is the entry-level option in this lineup, representing the perfect choice for many drivers. This is one of the smallest SUVs offered by Chevy, making it ideal if you enjoy a downsized lifestyle and want a vehicle to match. You get a 1.2L I-3 engine in this model that offers 137 hp and 162 lb-ft of torque; that’s not massive power, but you don’t need it with such a small SUV. Gas mileage is excellent with the 2025 Trax, getting an estimated 28 MPG in the city, 32 MPG on the highway, and 30 MPG of combined fuel economy. Despite its small size, you still get a very functional interior with a little over 25 cu.ft. of rear cargo space, 54.1 cu.ft. of total cargo volume behind the front seats, and a standard eight-inch Infotainment screen with an 11-inch display available.
2025 Chevy Trailblazer––More Subcompact SUV Options
If you’re looking for something similar in size but you’d like some more options with your SUV, then the Trailblazer is a great one to consider. The 2025 model comes with the same 1.2L engine as the Trax, but there’s a 1.3L I-3 engine available with 155 hp and 174 lb-ft of torque, giving you boosted performance. Interior cargo space with the Trailblazer is comparable to the Trax, but it comes with the larger 11-inch Infotainment system standard on all models. The starting price on the Trailblazer is a bit higher than the Trax, but you get enhanced features and more options, making it well worth considering.
2025 Chevy Equinox––A Compact SUV, Perfect for Daily Driving
For something a bit larger than the first two models we looked at, the Equinox is a great one to consider. This is a compact model, so it’s bigger than the previous ones but not by a massive amount, making it ideal if you want to avoid going too large. It features a 1.5L I-4 engine that provides 175 hp and up to 203 lb-ft of torque, giving you a bit of boosted performance without going overboard. You get an estimated 26 MPG in the city, 28 MPG on the highway, and 27 MPG of combined fuel efficiency with this model, so you can go all over South Lyon with few stops for gas. This is also an incredibly functional SUV with almost 30 cu.ft. of rear cargo space, more than 63 cu.ft. of total cargo volume behind the front seats, and an 11.3-inch Infotainment display.
2025 Chevy Equinox EV––Experience Electrified Performance
If you’re interested in leaving the gas pump behind completely, then check out the Equinox EV: an all-electric compact SUV that’s perfect for daily driving. Performance is remarkable with this model since you can choose a single-motor setup that provides 220 hp and 243 lb-ft of torque or a dual-motor configuration with 300 hp and 355 lb-ft of torque. That’s amazing power for a small SUV like this, ensuring it’s incredibly fun to drive; plus, you get an estimated 319 miles of driving range from a full charge with the single-motor model. When you add in the massive 17-inch Infotainment display inside, the Equinox EV becomes a wonderfully compelling option.

2025 Chevy Blazer––The Midsize SUV You’ve Been Looking For
We know midsize SUVs are the ideal choice for many drivers since they land beautifully between small and large options—the Chevy Blazer is the perfect example of that. You get a standard 2.0L I-4 engine with the Blazer that provides 228 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque, though there’s also an available 3.6L V6 with 308 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque. You can’t go wrong with either; your choice simply depends on the kind of performance you want. Inside, you’ll find more than 30 cu.ft. of rear cargo space along with 64 cu.ft. of total cargo volume behind the front row, plus a standard 10.2-inch Infotainment display to improve your drive each day.
2025 Chevy Blazer EV––Bold Electric Power and Excellent Range
The other exciting all-electric option in Chevy’s SUV lineup is the Blazer EV: a midsize model with power far beyond what you probably expect. You have four different configuration options here thanks to a standard 85 kWh battery and an available 102 kWh battery, both offered with either a single or pair of motors. The standard performance gives you 220 hp and 243 lb-ft of torque, while the available SS model delivers 615 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque, creating a driving experience you have to feel to fully appreciate. If you go with the enhanced battery and a single motor, then you get an estimated 334 miles of range from a full charge, giving you an EV that’s both incredibly fun to drive and functional for getting around South Lyon.
2025 Chevy Travers––Three Rows of Seating Inside
If you need to bring six or seven people along with you on a regular basis, then the Chevy Traverse is the SUV you should start with. This is a three-row model that offers seating for up to eight passengers, but its size is somewhere between midsize and full-size models, so it’s not necessarily as large as the last two we’ll look at. A standard 2.5L turbocharged I-4 engine offers 328 hp and 326 lb-ft of torque, ensuring you have a good driving experience each day. Inside, you’ll find almost 23 cu.ft. of rear cargo space, more than 56 cu.ft. of cargo volume behind the second row, and nearly 98 cu.ft. of total cargo room behind the front seats. This all comes together to create a fantastic SUV for growing families.
2025 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban––Full Size with Fantastic Features
If you’re looking for something even larger, then consider the Chevy Tahoe and Suburban, a pair of full-size SUVs that share a lot of features with each other. Both have three rows of seating inside, and they’re bigger than the Traverse, with a standard 5.3L V8 engine that provides 355 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque. You can also get a 6.2L V8 engine with 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque, or even choose a 3.0L turbo-diesel with 305 hp and 495 lb-ft of torque. Diesel engines aren’t very common in SUVs, making this something special to consider if you’re interested in such reliable power.
The Tahoe is the smaller of these two vehicles, with just over 25 cu.ft. of rear cargo space, about 72 cu.ft. of cargo room behind the second row, and nearly 123 cu.ft. of total cargo volume. If you want more space, the Suburban has more than 41 cu.ft. of cargo room in the back, nearly 94 cu.ft. of cargo space behind the second row, and almost 145 cu.ft. of total cargo volume available behind the front seats. Add in a standard 17.7-inch display plus gorgeous cabins for both of these models, and you have something that can’t be beat.
