It has been enhanced in the 2025 Equinox, such as with changes to the front fascia, boasting a more aggressive look compared to the LT, including a sportier grille with the RS badge, a black grille bar with a blacked-out Chevy bowtie badge, and a more dynamic lower bumper. You also have elevated roof rails and stylish 19-inch wheels. Inside, you get debossed RS-themed front headrests and a Torch Red and Santorini Blue interior stitching design.

The ACTIV also appears in other Chevy models’ trim lineups. You have a rugged-themed front fascia and bumper, along with roof rails on the exterior. Inside, you have a Black and Maple Sugar cabin with sueded microfiber Evotex material.

All-New Exterior Looks

These trims featuring their own unique exterior changes are just part of the new stylistic changes made for the fourth-generation Chevy Equinox. All three trims look vastly different from the outgoing generation thanks to bolder lines, more aggressive curves, and sharper edges helping to redefine the look and appeal of the Equinox for a new generation of drivers. This brings Chevy’s famous compact SUV more in line with the design cues of their other nameplates, such as the newer Trailblazer, Traverse, and Blazer.

The pillars on the Equinox have also seen a change, with the shark fin C-pillar design highlighting a more modern take on the popular compact SUV. The LT, in particular, also comes with all-new fascia options you can outfit it with, as well as all-new wheel options for the trim lineup, including designs that range from 17 to 20 inches; this gives you a lot more personalization and customization made available to outfit your vehicle to your liking. All of these features are attached to an all-new LED lighting array and headlight housing that give the Equinox a much more sleek and futuristic look.

To accompany these brand-new exterior alterations is a smattering of brand-new exterior colors, including all-new two-tone colors for the body and the roof. You now have eight additional color options over the outgoing generation; this includes six solid colors and ten two-tone colors. The two-tone colors are all new for the Equinox for the very first time; this includes a Mosaic Black Metallic or Summit White roof that can be matched with Summit White, Cacti Green, Sterling Gray Metallic, Lakeshore Blue Metallic, or Radiant Red Tintcoat body colors.

Incredible Interior Changes

Part of the all-new generation Equinox is that it boasts an interior layout change, which sees a more streamlined cabin with an all-new modern dashboard and vents. It also features a sleeker media control panel on the center console and structured center storage so you can keep your preferred items within easy reach.

There is the inclusion of new tactile material designs, and the standard inclusion of available Evotex seating material on the LT trim. There is also the availability of wireless charging to match the completely revamped infotainment suite. Chevy also removed the vertical stick shift in place of the drive selector knob, so now there is more free space within the cockpit area and more room for the driver to easily access the center console storage compartments.

This is done while retaining useful convenience features such as cup holders, the USB connector, and center pass-through storage. As for comfort, the interior of the Equinox now comes standard with a heated steering wheel and heated front seats; this brings the Equinox in line with other Chevy vehicles, boasting a lot of great convenience features and an ergonomic cabin design language that feels contemporary and functional.

Improved Infotainment

One of the biggest new features for the 2025 Chevy Equinox is the overhaul of the infotainment suite. This includes a new dashboard layout for the multiple display screens. You now have an 11.0-inch configurable digital instrument cluster that allows you to customize the driver media information, vehicle health, telemetry, and your own personal pages, so you can view only what’s important to you while you drive.
